The friendliness and openness of the altisSPR team reflect what Ana Palomino has observed to be typically Canadian values since she moved here 10 years ago from Colombia. To her, it’s remarkable that the altis team shares so many positive qualities so consistently: “At altis, you get the same experience regardless of who you deal with.” There’s never been a more exciting time to work in the staffing industry, according to Ana. “With the Baby Boom generation retiring, there’s a real demand for experienced professionals. Organizations need support to find talent—and we’re here to help.” Literally here, she adds, saying she was happily surprised by the amount of face-to-face interaction altis consultants have with clients. “You don’t find that in other firms, but it makes so much sense,” she says. “Meeting a client in person and getting a sense of their corporate culture really arms us with the knowledge we need to find the right candidate.” Ana is a graduate of the University of Lethbridge with a degree in International Management. Since moving to Ottawa she has taken full advantage of the city’s amenities; you can spot her running or rollerblading down the canal or taking in the sites and sounds of the Byward market.
